Freshwater Policy offers a variety of services to support you and your organization on your path promoting natural resource sustainability.
Freshwater is available to assist with strategic planning and help organizations to think through their water, natural resource policy or conservation-related objectives in the context of the relevant law, policy, politics, and institutions. Freshwater has worked with major conservation non-profits and small community groups on strategic planning in the western water and river conservation arenas.
Freshwater can assist with policy research, analysis, and development. We enjoy assisting others with translating complex policy issues, assessing leverage points, and developing realistic and creative plans for engagement.
Freshwater can assist in assessing, planning, and implementing work to develop strategic allies and communicate with important stakeholders and is experienced representing clients in multi-stakeholder policy-oriented processes. Freshwater is also adept at connecting those who work on natural resources with communications experts to create strategic, professional, and content-rich communications plans and materials.
Freshwater is also available to provide other needed project and program support. The organization has particular expertise with writing and editing, including in technical or specialized areas, and can offer these as stand-alone services; can assist with meeting planning and facilitation, and with stakeholder outreach or participation in stakeholder processes; or otherwise provide discrete assistance in planning, implementing, or coordinating programs and projects.
